Where have all the bloggers gone?

Recently, I have noticed a drastic decline in posting from some of the folks (like myself) that were blogging so consistently earlier this year. I am probably guiltier than the rest considering that I committed to daily blogging during lent and have since dropped off the edge of the blogging world. If you click through, I’ll be dispensing my fun theories on why everyone has stopped blogging and follow that with a personal commitment to my blogging future. Keep reading →

New Song - Tell Me A Lie

This is my 3rd original song. It’s called Tell Me A Lie. This recording is not the greatest version of this song because my rhythm is terrible and you actually have to look at me while I attempt to sing. But I wanted to make sure I got it out there for everyone to listen to since I think this shows some quality progress with my lyrical ability. I may record this again and if I do I’ll update this post with the latest version. So if you click through, enjoy the song… Keep reading →

Coming soon…

I’ve been kind of caught up with a new project at work but I’ve got some posts that I want to work on and get out there soon including the long awaited post on Rome, a post on Mission Trip and a new song that I recently completed called Tell Me A Lie.

That’s all for now but stay tuned for further updates.

Let The Great Experiment Begin!

I’m working on a little experiment this summer. Like any good scientist (though i deny being a scientist as I’ve been quoted many times saying “I’m no scientist…” and I certainly have never claimed to be a good one), I have a hypothesis and I’ve got a test plan to try and prove it. Rome Trip Recap - Teaser

If you click through you will see a photo I took in Italy. It is in a town called Castel Gandalfo just outside of Rome. The Pope’s summer home is in this town. In the picture you will also see Lake Albano which is a volcanic crater lake. Very cool stuff. This is definitely one of the better pictures I have ever taken. Keep reading →

Time is contagious; everybody’s getting old

Today I turned 24.  I’m another year older and I’m inching closer to full baldness.  This was probably one of the most low key birthdays I have ever had and that was just fine with me.  I went to work, watched the Stars, How I Met Your Mother and the Rangers.  I do want to give a quick thanks to everyone for the happy b-day wishes.  I don’t have any deep thoughts about this birthday.  It doesn’t seem like it’s going to be all that important of a year right now.  Of course I could be telling a completely different story about my 24th year by the time I’m getting close to 25.  It should be a fun year though regardless of importance.  Until next time…. stay classy.

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue…

I’m using this Victorian era saying (typically said to brides - further research can be found here) because I want to cover multiple topics which can be described by those 4 categories (new, old, borrowed, blue) and I prefer not to use the word “scattershot” to describe the random amalgamation (booyah!) of thoughts that will be included in this post. More unnecessarily big words to follow if you decide to click through… Keep reading →

Busy, busy, busy…

With the move into the house, work, etc. I have been slow to do a real post but things should be slowing down soon enough and I can get back to some semi-regular postings. If you are really in need of some entertainment, head on over to www.hulu.com and watch some Arrested Development. The show is hilarious.
