I’ve been asked by a few people to post lyrics to my songs. I’ll do so intermittently when I have nothing else to say or I just finish a draft of a song and want to get some feedback. I started songwriting during Lent to complete a goal I had to write a serious song. Amazingly enough, I managed to crank out two songs and I had the first song completed by the end of February. I enjoyed the process quite a bit and I’ve kept it up as a hobby ever since. Lately, I’ve come to my first major stumbling block and like some other problems I’ve run into I’m going to publicly assess the issue and hope that it helps me find the root problem. (more…)

So last Thursday (4/3), I decided to try and cook something out of my crock-pot cooking book. This decision was generated in part by my Quarterly Statement but also because I found a recipe I was pretty excited about – Pork Tacos. The post is about a week late but the results are in – Pork Tacos = Delicious with a capital D. Pictures with comments included if you click through.
